A DEAD MAN

I DANCED WITH DEATH AND THIS IS WHAT HE TAUGHT ME

This book tells the tale about the image of a dead man who I constantly saw while I was at the height of my mental illness. I believed him to be the embodiment of my own impending death.

This book dives deep into the wave of thoughts one has when they are dancing with death under crippling mental illness and explores the idea of beauty in mortality.

Released in July 2021, A Dead Man was completely self published in a small batch of 50 and was completely sold out in the span of a week.

SGD$10 from every book sold was donated to Singapore Association For Mental Health (SAMH). In the end, a total of SGD$1100 was raised to fight mental illness thanks to the kindness of the people who supported the book and even went the extra mile to donate more.
